One Signature Zine….

20160802_3862web

A few days ago I made this one signature zine with an 8.5×11 inch sheet of Red River 2-sided Premium Matte paper. I think it turned out well. The twist to making it is that I fold it so that I only have to trim the top edge a fraction of an inch with a sharp razor knife, and then I apply a very thin bead of PVA to the inside spine/fold and glue it to the outside sheet. No need for staples or sewing. If after this, the pages still  don’t align quite properly, they can also be trimmed. Below is the layout for the images. Each image should be 4.25 x 5.5 inches, of course, the center photo [3 & 4] can be 8.5 x 5.5 inches. I print the whole thing in the Advanced Black and White mode on my Epson R3000, that way the toning of the b&w images remains uniform.
