This morning I received an email from Hugh Horton, he is getting ready to write an overview of the history of the Cedar Key Small Boat Meet which I started about 30 years ago, but have not been involved with for many years. I know I took this photo of Ida Little on the Cedar Key City Beach the first morning of the first boat meet. The two boats in the foreground are Ron Johnson’s Sea Pearls. the other boat is my Drascombe Dabber Solla Sollew. The only ‘problem’ is that the photo is dated 1985 – so, have I been wrong about the start date all along? Well, I think we need to do some more research.
