“Love seeing good portraits…”

This is the Mexican architect Tatiana Bilbao who is featured in the May 12 , 2013 issue of the New York Times T Magazine

I always enjoy running across appealing and natural looking portraits in major magazines. I think this one of Tatiana Bilbao by photographer Isabelle Pateer is one of them. There is no sign of ‘over-production’ and I think it perfectly fits the article. Actually I like the version in the magazine a bit better than this one. In it the back wall is greener, and the photo is cropped on the right, cutting out the hallway and door.

The work and websites of both women is extremely interesting and I recommend a look!

  1. Fabulous portrait. I love that awkward look that suggests indecision over artfulness.
