This morning I broke my routine and did not make a pinhole exposure. I am out of developer, for one thing.Instead I walked downtown, and then home via the highway coming into town. Where I turn to go to our house is the New Jiffy a convenience store and gas station that has been there for decades, but is still referred to as the New Jiffy, while the one downtown, next to Post Office is the ‘Old Jiffy.’ I have photographed the area around the New Jiffy numerous times. It always fascinates me for it is such distillation of our community. Here is where the fishermen and clam-farmers get their gas and coffee. Where the tourists get gas for their boats, along with a six-pack, and snacks for a day on the water.
