“Full Moon…Low Tide…”

When I walked this morning, around 8:30, the tide was really low, which is remarkable given that low tide was at 1:51 last night and high tide at 8:03. Hmm, don’t really know what is going on here, except that it will be a full moon tonight, so the low tides are really extreme. Anyhow, if you look at the photo above you can see how low the tide was. Just to give you an idea, if you followed the shore line out of the photo on the left, you would end up in the Suwannee River Delta, a few miles to the NNE of us.
