A couple of days ago I mentioned Rains’ Restaurant in my post, and that I had eaten my first Cedar Key meal there when I arrived here. This morning, when I was photographing a bird-dog boat in front of the Rains cottages I noticed for the first time that the restaurant sign was still there. A little worse for wear after thirty years or so, but still legible. I could not believe that I never noticed the sign before. I ended up taking this rather ho-hum photo. I am so glad and excited about this little find though that I have to go ahead an post the photo.
