“Everything wrong….however I think it works….”

I pass by this ‘urban landscape’ almost every day on my walk. If it is in the mornings, the sun shines through the branches of the big oak and the Spanish moss. It is a the kind of scene that I treasure in this north Florida landscape. Too majestic and disorganized to photograph, or even take in, yet it has many of the elements that signify what it means living in this environment. The nice and modest house, the storage shed, the tamed yet disorderly vegetation, the propane gas tank, and although missing in this photo, the small, commercial fishing boat.Photographing this scene everything is wrong in formal terms. Shouldn’t photograph into the sun, should have more organized lines and clear points of interest, and the list goes on. I am going ahead and posting it anyhow because to me it is this place that I love photographing and being.
