“Looking toward Deadman’s Key…”

20140103_4827nikweb…well, the main ‘subject’ of this is really ‘low tide.’ I threw in the Deadman’s Key just as an attention getter. It is the little speck of land on the horizon, sort of in the center of the photo. That jagged piece of something sticking up in the left middle of the photos is an old engine block that is all that remains from a fishing boat that supposedly was burned down there. From the rumors I have heard, it is an ugly story, and I won’t repeat it since I am not at all sure of the details, but it does give me pause, just about every time I pass by there.

Chris- I have kept this in my inbox because I look at almost everyday. There is something about this particular image that I am drawn toward. I just love it. It evokes some feeling in my blood, I must just be missing CK.

  5. I am so delighted that it ‘speaks to you.’ We encountered a spectacular [way after] sunset there a few days ago. I did not post my photo ’cause Zandy’s on her smart phone turned out even better! :)
