I have had a hard time lately trying to figure out where photography, and my photography in particular, were headed. What is beginning to concern me is that, as I stroll through my photo ‘blog roll’ on Google Reader, I find that too many of the images I see look so much alike that I can’t tell them apart; and this happens not just with any images, but particularly with those featured on blogs I highly respect.
Things have not become any clearer for my after reading two current articles, one in the New York Times and one in the The New Yorker:
