Postcards – snail mail
January 23, 2008 · Leave a Comment
I have a limited number of assorted work prints laying about I would like to send out as postcards. SO, if you would like to receive one, please e-mail me with your name and mailing address, and I will get one off in the mail to you.
They are printed either on Museo Silver Rag or Epson Premium Semigloss Photo Paper with pigment ink. Mostly they are from my WaterWomen, Every Angel is Terrifying, and Last Picture Show portfolios. They do not include any of the semi-nudes, since I want to make them ‘Postal Service Safe!’
My experience with sending postcards oversees has not been that great – I believe there must be a warehouse filled with undelivered postcards between here and ‘there.’ However, I will be glad to give it a try.
Please put ‘Postcard’ in your e-mail subject line; thus when your mail arrives in my junk-mail folder, I wont’t delete it.
Give me about ten days till after receipt of your request, to get the card in the mail.

The beginning….
January 3, 2008 · Leave a Comment
I am scanning the WaterWomen negatives I want to use for my book. This is going to be a rather lengthy process, and from time to time I am going to post the images from some of those scans. They are going to be more or less in chronological order. This one is a 1996 photo of Harriet Smith working her clam lease. She was one of the pioneer clam farmers in Cedar Key. One of the boats she used was one she built. I am not sure if this one is it. Will have to check that out.
